Designed as an affordable option for mountain bikes with a boost rear axle and either 29″ or 27.5″ In wheel sizes the acid mtb race hpa wheelset makes use of cube high performance aluminium for the 30 mm wide rim, pinned at the joint for strength and durability. Industrial bearings ensure a long service life even in tough riding conditions, and thru axles secure the wheels to the frame. Disc rotors can be attached via a centerlock mount. The 32 j-bend spokes are laced in a three-cross pattern, whilst sse improves the seating of nipples at the rim for a truer, stronger wheel build and, with the right rim tape, it’s possible to use tubeless tyres.
